Forbes Names Asheville One of The Best Places for Business
Raleigh is on top as the best place in America to do business, according to an annual ranking by Forbes magazine. Other N.C. cities were also recognized. Forbes ranked Charlotte the 22nd best city for business, along with Asheville ranking 24th.
Perhaps this is why Asheville Real Estate is so strong right now. I had a Client tell me that living here is a wonderful shield from what is going on in other areas.
More good news is According to 2010 crime statistics released last week; North Carolina’s crime rate is at a 33-year low.
Over the last several months we have had several new companies move to Asheville providing employment and creating business for others.
Is the economy getting stronger here? The answer is yes, Asheville Home sales are up, retail stores are having stronger sales and automotive sales are at an all time high. All this is good for our area and the best part is it is all happening at a steady pace but not to fast. This would normally indicate that this growth is real and will continue.
We are finding the Asheville home search is much stronger with buyers continuing to use the internet for their search tool before calling a realtor.
