Many years ago Sheila and I visited Asheville to invest in real estate. One of our friends suggested we go see Historical Downtown Waynesville so we did. It was mid December and very cold, being from Florida let me share again with you it was very, very cold! But the friendly small town was all decorated for Christmas and the town charm made you just forget about the cold and drift back into the 1800’s with the lined brick sidewalks, historical building, unique shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants.

Waynesville hosts FOLKMOOT USA, North Carolina's official international music and dance festival annually.

Waynesville, a quaint mountain retreat, is home to Haywood Arts Regional Theater, an award winning theater; The Museum of North Carolina Handicrafts at the historic Shelton House; historic bed and breakfasts, a general store, book store, toy store, art & sculptures, mountain trout, mountain golf, clean air, clean water, cool summers, dramatic autumns, mild winters, lush springtime, as well as Southern hospitality. Waynesville is the largest town in Western North Carolina west of Asheville.\

Waynesville Real Estate continues to be a good mix of second homes, retirement and new families. Other areas include Maggie Valley with its mountain log cabin feel or Crabtree’s majestic mountains and beautiful farms. Waynesville, Maggie Valley or Crabtree home sales seems to outpace other areas in the country because of the popularity and peace that only the mountains can offer.

Come visit us today and allow the fresh air and mountain streams sing quite peaceful tones to your ears.
