Believe it or not Americans are getting Wealthier!

The changing of times, the economy starting to turn around is all promising as Americans’ wealth increased 3.8% in the last three months of 2010. Most of the growth is because of their stock portfolios.

The increase in wealth may be one reason Asheville Real Estate for residential sales are showing a strong increase. New construction is still at a standstill but I believe this will change as resale home inventory decreases.

Consumer’s net worth which includes the assets such as homes, checking accounts and investments less debts such as mortgages and credit cards has increased two consecutive quarters after dropping last spring.

Continued gains in wealth will strengthen real estate sales in popular markets like Asheville, Maggie Valley, Weaverville and Waynesville Homes and the overall economy experts say.

With interest rates continuing to be an all time low along with home prices this is a wonderful time to invest and increase your wealth even more.
