Are Buyers Asking For Too Much?

Now that there is more inventory to choice from Buyers have a long list of what they want when looking for a home, their biggest desires is a good deal.

But that is just the beginning.

1. Homes must be in good condition. Buyers do not want to spend a lot of money to repair or fix up a new home so they would rather spend the money on the purchase.

2. Buyers want a good Deal. Even when considering bank-owned properties, they don't want to paint, put carpet in or clean. Lenders are now starting to invest fixing up the homes in order to find a buyer.

3. Love the Outdoors. Homes with gardens, barbeque pits, screened in porches, outdoor kitchens, and two-way fireplaces are becoming very popular to the home buyer.

4. Open kitchens. Kitchens are becoming a gathering place so the great room with an open kitchen is in demand.

So what is left? The large home is getting smaller, large master bathrooms, walk-in closets and areas with walking paths will help the Seller get a higher dollar.
